Backstage
Plug an Oakboard into this computer and the page reads its firmware, tells you exactly what to update and how, lets you change what each button and fader sends, and shows every MIDI message live.
Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Opera on Mac and Windows. Safari and Firefox can't talk to MIDI devices yet.
With Shift on, the bottom middle button stops sending MIDI and becomes a modifier, giving every other button a second message.
Connection log
Programming mode
Unplug the Oakboard, hold PLAY and PREV while plugging it back in. Every button flashes and stays lit. Now the Programmer can read and write it.
Bootloader mode
For USB-C Oakboards only. Unplug it, hold STOP while plugging it back in. The buttons stay dark, and the Firmware Loader can flash it.
