Taz Lite

Taz Lite is a playback cue launching tool for Ableton Live Suite and Max for Live users. Start by naming a locator or clip in your Ableton Live set with a leading asterisk like this:

* Some Song Title

Selecting that cue in Taz's CueList and pressing the PLAY button will launch the associated Arrangement View Locator or Session View scene. In addition to launching cues, Taz can stop Live’s transport as well as select previous or next cues.

In addition to the cue list management functions that come with Taz Lite, Taz Pro works like an assistant Music Director by audibly slating your Arrangement View locator or Session View clip names. Routed to your band's in-ear monitor system, Taz Pro can announce the title of the song about to start, the song's key signature, or even discreetly cue a vocalist for the upcoming lyric. Using the built-in Text to Speech Architecture in OS X, Taz Pro can use different voices, or even speak different languages! Learn more here.
